Zebulon Morrison, my grandfather, was born in Ames, Iowa on May 23, 1870. He later married Anna Knudson, who was born in Bergen, Norway around 1874. Anna came over to this country when she was about 16 years old. They had 3 sons and 3 sisters: Don, Clarence, Robert (my dad), Stella, Dora, and Hazel. They lived at 1124 Roosevelt Ave. in Ames. On the right is a picture of their house as it looks today (note: the front was changed and the porch removed by the current owner of this property.)

Above is a picture taken at 1124 Roosevelt Avenue at the time Zebulon and Anna lived there. Note the front porch and awning covering side door that was removed later. Anna Morrison is on the left and daughter Stella on the right. We are not sure who the woman is in the middle.
