To the left is a picture of a house on South Highland Street in Ames. Farwell Brown couldn't recall a street by that name except to comment that it may be the old or original spelling of Hyland Avenue located near Iowa State University. This house was painted by Martin Morrison. I am not sure if the house is still there but will keep an eye out for it.

Below Martin's logo, you can see in Martin Morrison's own handwriting which says "a residence on south Highland with Banana plants in the front yard.

Farwell Brown suggested I go to the city engineer's office to check the records for Highland Street to see if it really is where Hyland Avenue is today. As soon as I get more information, I will post to this website.
